Russia, music by the legendary Duke Ellington and a jazzy
"Amazing Grace" performed by principal clarinetist
Gary Cauchi. Also, as a special tribute to Fresno City College
for its continued support, there will be a display in the
lobby of program covers from past seasons designed by Hiro
Komaki.

Christmas" by Irving Berlin and other holiday favorites.

"British Band Classics"
Well-known works
to be performed include the "Second Suite for Military
Band" by Gustav Holst and the stately march "Crown
Imperial" written for the coronation of King George VI
in 1937. On the lighter side, the band will play the overture
to "The Mikado" by Gilbert and Sullivan.

Plus a special tribute to Murphy Bank
To celebrate our
country, the band will perform tunes from the World War II
era, melodies by Irving Berlin, music from the movie "That's
Entertainment", a salute to our military and the classic
Carmen Dragon arrangement of "America the Beautiful."
The concert will include a special tribute to Murphy Bank
in recognition of its continued support.
